Sonterra’s signature "Golf Education & Training" Program is designed to reduce your handicap by at least one-third over a 3 to 12 month period. It focuses on the parts of your game that most impacts your score and then tailors your instruction to deal specifically with these target areas. The medium to long-term commitment can have a dramatic impact on your enjoyment of the game. "Golf Education & Training" is a one-on-one instruction program (up to two, one hour lessons per week) that provides continuous access to my teaching resources. Your game will develop with each session and your scores will drop.
“I designed the Golf Education & Training Programs” for students, regardless of their handicap or skill level, who are ready to make a commitment to take their game to a higher level.” said Tim Hobby, Director of Instruction. “My goal when working with a student in the Golf Education & Training Program is to do a total evaluation of his or her game, ability level, time commitment, equipment, and short and long term goals. I then give that player a game plan on how to attain their goals. We work from that plan each time we meet,” stated Hobby. “I basically did the exact same method with all of my college players and I strongly believe that was the key to our rise to the top tier of college golf,” said the former Baylor coach. “Each lesson, every bucket of balls, and each round of golf is spent practicing the drills or swing mechanics that will contribute to the student’s progression. I speak from experience when I say, if the commitment is there from the student, the results will be extraordinary and the game will take on a whole new meaning."
